Meet Our Production Team
Earlene is a founding member and the Artistic Director at Emerald Theatre. She loves directing outdoor theatre and making art in the suburbs. Her love of theatre started in college and continued as she taught theatre iand directed plays in public schools. In 2012 she and four other passionate artists founded our theatre . Since then, she has directed youth camps, summer theatre and cabarets for Emerald Theatre. Love to Alex, Anthony, Liz, Emmitt and Grace.

Kylan had a delayed intro to the world of theatre, only getting involved through improv classes in 2024. Since then chi has become infatuated and has spread into every area chi can manage. Chi has continued taking classes, and has also began house managing, stage managing, running light and sound, and most recently musical accompaniment in the improv world. Now chi's excited to branch out into the scripted world. Chi wants to thank you for coming out to the show, as you make it worthwhile, and to thank Jo for connecting chirp to opportunities and Devon for their mentorship. Catalina Jarocki is a performer, choreographer and teacher in the greater Seattle area. Brought up outside of Seattle, she received much of her education and performing opportunities from local programs, majorly Village Theatre's Institute and TAP programs. Upon relocating to South Carolina, she focused on choreography and teaching at a local dance academy; styling specifically in musical theatre and lyrical. During this time, she also completed her Personal Training program online through Auburn University. Recently moved back to her home town, she has been seen in the two musical productions at Bainbridge Performing Arts in their 2025-26 season. She would like to thank Earlene reaching out to her for this production and providing a space for the arts to continue to grow. She would also like to thank her family, friends, and Nyx for support, and give a special shoutout to David.

Taylor is a Costume Design BFA 4 student at Cornish College of the Arts at Seattle University.
Previously they studied at The Theatre School at DePaul University, Chicago. Her work focuses
on under-represented groups such as the LGBTQ+ and disabled communities. Professionally,
Taylor has designed for Tacoma Musical Playhouse and works for IATSE Local 887 and 15 in
Seattle, WA.

Raya Tuffaha is a Palestinian actor, writer & fight/intimacy director. Her fights have been seen at Union Arts Center, Renton Civic Theatre, Latitude Theatre, and more. Seattle acting credits include Artemis Theatre Project (Chick Fight), Strawberry Theatre Workshop (Circle Mirror Transformation), GreenStage (Henry VI). Poetry collections: To All the Yellow Flowers (2020), apocalypse blues (2022). Her writing has been commissioned by Seattle Opera, 4Culture, and Artist Trust. Other publications include Mizna, AAWW, Phoebe Journal, The Louisville Review, and Bellingham Review. Arab America’s 30 Under 30. Katie Dreessen (she/her) Katie is a Seattle born-and-raised actor, dialect coach, and theatre educator. Since graduating from WWU, she has been working all around the Puget Sound Area with companies like GreenStage, Kitsap Forest Theatre, and As If Theatre, and teaching with Edmonds Heights K-12 and Dandylyon Drama. M.G. Woods (they/she) is a Seattle-based actor, sound designer, and engineer. Since graduating in 2025 from the University of Puget Sound with a BA in Theatre Arts, M.G. has dedicated themself to working on productions all around the Puget Sound area. Other sound credits include work with Sound Theatre Company, ArtsWest, and Taproot Theatre Company. When not working, she can be found writing sketch comedy, playing the bass, stressing over the NYT Games, or studying french. Bon spectacle et amusez-vous bien !!

Amy is on the Board of Directors for Emerald Theatre and is the resident Technical Director. She is an award winning Sound Designer who has worked at many theatres in the Puget Sound area, most recently at Center Stage in Federal Way and Tacoma Musical Playhouse in Tacoma, where, in addition to designing sound for Emma, she is also designed sound for their production of Hairspray.

Sam Marx, Graphic Designer — Sam is a founding Board of Directors member of Emerald Theatre and has shaped the company’s visual identity since its inception by designing posters, programs, and marketing materials. In addition to her graphic design work, she has appeared in Emerald Theatre productions, co-taught the Emerald Theatre Summer Drama Youth Camps, and supports each show through graphics, props, sets, and show management. Outside the theatre, Sam enjoys creating cosplay costumes for Comic-Con & RenFaires and runs her own handmade décor business, Hey! I Made That! www. heyimadethat.com

This is Gabriela's 5th year working with Emerald Theatre with costumes and props. She also is a member of Emerald Theatre's Board of Directors. When she isn't working with the theatre, she creates art for a local Quilt Club.

Caz is excited to be the Sound Technician for Emma, their first show with Emerald Theatre! At just 16 years old, this is their sixth production, and they’ve loved the performing arts ever since childhood. When they’re not making sure everyone can be heard, Caz enjoys hanging out with friends and playing with their two dogs and cat. They hope you’ll fall in love with this production, (preferably faster than Emma figures everything out).”

This is Sherrie's first year doing marketing with Emerald Theatre. When not working with the theatre, she works at Kentridge High School as a front office assistant, has play dates with her granddaughter, and loves trying out different restaurants with friends.

Camila is a Tahoma High School student who is volunteering with us this summer. She has taken photos and videos to use for marketing and has been an instrumental part of our rehearsals as an assistant to our stage manager.
