Michael Weaver (Scrooge) just completed a 2-year stint in the National/International Tour of the Wizard of Oz (Uncle Henry/ Gatekeeper) playing the lower 48, China, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. This was the first American Broadway-style musical to play either of the Middle Eastern countries. Other national tours include Fiddler on the Roof (Rabbi) and 7 Brides for 7 Brothers (Preacher). Michael was co-founder and artistic director of Actors Repertory Theatre and associate artistic director of Interplayers Ensemble, both professional theatres in Spokane, Washington.  He regularly acts and directs at regional theaters all across the country including Illinois’ Little Theatre on the Square, Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre in Pennsylvania, Arizona Broadway Theatre, and Broadway Palm in Florida. He has performed in productions as diverse as My Fair Lady (Henry Higgins), Never the Sinner (Clarence Darrow), Camelot (Merlin/Pellinore), Born Yesterday (Harry Brock), 25th Annual Spelling Bee (Panch), Shear Madness (Eddie), The Drowsy Chaperone (Man in Chair) and 9 separate productions in The Greater Tuna series. As a director he has helmed over 150 productions, both plays and musicals, including Humble Boy starring Oscar winner Patty Duke and the first reduced cast mounting of Our Town approved by the Thornton Wilder estate.  His film work includes the cult classic horror movie, Tiki.

Ayleen Piteo-Tarpy (Fiona, Ghost of Christmas Present, Marley, Rich Woman 1, Hawker , Undertaker's Assistant) is a musical theatre student at Cornish College of the Arts, and this is her first production with Emerald Theatre. She has been doing theatre for six years, and is excited to broaden her horizons with this incredible new form of theatre. It's been such an interesting experience working with green screens and film for the first time, and Ayleen is excited to share this creative new work with you! She would like to thank the director, Earlene Deleon, for her work and commitment towards making this production flow as perfectly as it did. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Tricia Zuskind (Belle, Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, Rich Woman, Hawker, Charwoman, Caroline) is thrilled to be doing her first virtual production with Emerald Theatre! A Canadian native, Tricia recently relocated to Seattle, WA from New York City. Some favorite credits include: the off-Broadway musical Frankenstein, The Wizard of Oz National tour, and performing with Disney Cruise Line. Tricia would like to thank the whole Christmas Carol team for this wonderful experience, and her husband Mitch for having a green screen in the kitchen with zero complaints! 

Anden J. Leo (Young Scrooge, Renter) has had a wonderful time getting to work remotely on this fun project! He has performed throughout  Puget Sound over the past 10 years, appearing in student and regional productions at The Village Theatre, The 5th Avenue Theatre, Tacoma Musical Playhouse, Tacoma Little Theatre, Seattle Musical Theatre and Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre.  He has also appeared in several shortfilms with Hank Isaac productions. Molli Elwell (Spirit of Christmas Past, Solicitor, Mrs. Fezziwig, Fiona's Friend, Laundress, Rich Lady)is immensely grateful to be making her virtual stage debut with A Christmas Carol. A senior in high school, Molli is currently completing her associate’s degree through Pierce College online as she prepares to major in theatre at a four-year college starting next Fall. Local credits include Manestage Theatre: Holiday Inn (Nightly Dancer), The Music Man (Dance Ensemble), Meet Me in St. Louis (Agnes Smith), A Christmas Story (Mary Beth), Sumner High School: Disney's HIgh School Musical (Kelsi Nielsen, 5th Ave Award Honorable Mention), A Spare Me (Win). @mollielwell 

Kosowsky Bio

The Kosowsky Family (The Cratchit Family) Ryan Sr., Keyle, Sydney, Kennedy, and Ryan

In their collective debut, the Kosowsky family have taken on the role of the Cratchit family. Most are not strangers to theatre though, with Keyle having played in the Sound of a Music and as Kim in Ms. Saigon in US Army Europe, Kennedy and Sydney in multiple Sumner High School productions both on and behind stage, and Ryan Elizabeth as Annie for Sumner Middle School. This, however, is Ryan's first appearance. They are excited to experiment with this new way of bringing performances to viewers virtually.

Kaden Stanford (voice of boy Scrooge) is very excited for the opportunity to be involved in this production. He was recently seen as Miss Hannigan in Annie at Mountain View Middle School and as Peter Cratchit in Scrooge at the Tacoma Little Theater. Kaden would like to thank his family and friends for their continuous love and support in his passion for theater.

Carson Jennings (voice of Orson) is very excited to be a part of this production of A Christmas Carol! Carson has participated in many school musicals such as Mary Poppins and The Nutcracker. He is ecstatic that he has the opportunity to continue to build his acting resume. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf and playing video games with friends. 

Mason Lancaster Bio

Mason Lancaster (voice of Valentine) is 14 years old. He is excited to be part of this production of A Christmas Story, as it is his favorite! Mason has performed as Simba in The Lion King, Daddy Warbucks in Annie and ensemble roles in James and the Giant Peach, Elf, and Seussical. In his spare time he enjoys skateboarding, snow skiing, and hanging out with friends.
