Kristin Hoekema
Aegean, Angelo, First Merchant, Dr. Pinch
Kristin is excited to be performing in her first Shakespeare play ever with this wonderful cast. Recent credits: Cinderella in Into the Woods and Sister Mary Patrick in Sister Act (Santa Clara University), Ensemble in Pippin (Renton Civic Theatre). She also stage managed for A Nice Family Christmas at The Phoenix Theatre in Edmonds. In her free time, Kristin enjoys being a new cat parent of two sweet kittens, baking, geocaching, playing piano, and crocheting. @kristin.creative
Jean Sitte
Adriana, Jailer
Jean E. Sitte (she/her) is delighted to indulge her Shakespeare cravings with Emerald Theatre this summer! She was last seen on stage in GreenStage's Henry VI, part 1 and has previously performed with Taproot Theatre Company’s Christmas Improv Touring, Valley Center Stage, Bainbridge Performing Arts, The Fern Shakespeare Company, Edmonds Driftwood Players, and Kitsap Forest Theater, among others. She holds a BA in Theatre from Seattle Pacific University and has studied with Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA. She and her husband Joel are joyfully expecting their second child this fall! Thanks to Grandpa for babysitting while I learned lines and to Joel for all his support.
Hannah Wang
Luciana, Courtesan, 2nd Merchant, Abbess
Hannah is delighted to be comedic and error-prone with Emerald Theatre this summer. This is Hannah’s first show since finishing school and moving back to the PNW. Previous acting roles include Kurt Vonnegut’s God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater (Ensemble), Iphigenia at Aulis (Achilles), She Kills Monsters (Kaliope Darkwater), and The Addams Family (Grandma Addams). Hannah is also passionate about original and experimental theatre-making — Hannah has acted in the premiere productions of Unbecoming, We Were Everywhere, and the English-language adaptation of Sister
Mok-rahn; devised and directed an immersive theatre adaptation of William Faulkner’s Barn Burning; and written the one-act play Ribs, which was selected for production by ACT Theatre’s Young Playwrights Festival. Endless thanks to Emily, Jason, Mei, and Huaming for all of their love and support!
Helene Minassian
Dromio of Syracuse, Dromio of Ephesus, Messenger
Helene is super excited to be making her debut at Emerald Theatre, performing her first Shakespeare show! You may have recently seen her as Easy in Dogg's Hamlet, Cahoot's Macbeth at InD Theatre, Alf in Peter and the Starcatcher at Reboot Theatre, and Mr.Bingley/Mary in Pride and Prejudice at Bainbridge Performing Arts.
Julie Redl
The Duke, Officer
Julie Redl has lived in and raised her two sons in Maple Valley for 22 years and recently returned to her love of acting. Her daytime role is a home caregiver, and offstage from that she enjoys gardening, cooking, thrift shopping, and her family and two cats. Julie thanks Ed Corrigan for casting her in his production of Trinity and pointing her towards the fantastic Earlene and Emerald Theater. The greatest thanks naturally go to her husband Chad, sons Justin and Evan, and to Julie's wonderful family and friends, all of whom provide the support and love that makes The Comedy of Errors we call life more bearable.
Anden J. Leo
Antipholus of Syracuse, Antipholus of Ephesus
Anden is thrilled to be playing not just one, but two characters in one of his favorite Shakespearean comedies! He is a board member with Emerald Theatre who has performed at various stages throughout the PNW including Seattle Musical Theatre, Tacoma Musical Playhouse, Bainbridge Performing Arts, Valley Center Stage and the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle.
